Iowa State Fair
The Iowa State Fair has been held annually since 1854.
The 400-acre fair features a wide variety of farm equipment, livestock and art exhibits. Entertainment is provided to attract visitors. The symbol of the State Fair is the butter cow. The first cow appeared in 1911. She was a pioneer, from it diverged others, which were no longer made of butter and began to decorate the centers of large cities around the world. Talented Americans did not stop at the traditional cow, and made out of butter Superman, Elvis Presley and Harry Potter and placed in a huge refrigerator with viewing windows. You have to stand in line for about 10 minutes to see them.
